At 8 5 x 4 x 2 3 inches and 2 lbs the reversible featherboard can be used on small tables band saws and fences. An absolute must for precision and safety this tough polymer fence featherboard can be used in both infeed and outfeed applications. It holds the board you are cutting tight to to your tablesaw fence which makes for cleaner straighter cuts. A featherboard serves two important purposes.

Standard featherboard presses workpiece horizontally against the fence as you make your cut fits standard miter slots. The included jigs can be used separately if you have other jigs or fixtures. Fence mounted featherboard holds stock firmly against table since it provides downward pressure after clamp mounting onto your table saw fence. And it prevents the sawblade from dangerously kicking the board backward which could cause serious injuries or damage.

It can be placed anywhere on the cast iron or steel fence. The featherboard mounts with the included heavy duty t bolts and large easy to grip threaded knobs. The low profile makes it ideal for smaller tables. Fits all rockler t slot fences and can be used with material up to 1 1 8 thick.

Featherboards work essentially like a flexible spring loaded fence with angled fingers that only allow a board to slide freely in the direction of the sawblade.
