Is the top edge parallel with the top door jamb head jamb.
Fix bedroom door latch.
Loosen the knobs a little to relieve some of the pressure on the door and to free up the latch a little.
But if your door is dragging due to a loose hinge it s the top one that will cause the door to pivot on the bottom hinge and thus drag.
If not there is more to look for.
If it latches securely the problem is solved.
Now try closing the door and give.
Check on the bottom hinge as well of course.
Remove one of the screws on the jamb side of the hinge and drive in a 3 in.
Tighten any that might be loose and then check the door again.
Using a phillips head screwdriver tighten all door hinges so that none is loose.
Slide the latch in and out to see if it moves smoothly and if not the door knob may be too tight.
If that doesn t solve the problem try this trick.
It should be equally solid.
