Fine bits of broken off steel can lodge between boards and rust. Floor buffing machines generally operate under high speeds which can cause serious personal injury. For one thing the buffing machine is heavy enough to crack most glazed porcelain tiles that are installed in kitchens and bathrooms and it is a good idea to avoid dragging machinery like that across the surface of the tile. Others require polishing with a buffing pad or burnishing machine.

Then i tried to use buffer again and i guess the wax on the bristles re smeared everything. You may want to buff your floors instead of sanding them if the finish of the floor is looking dull and scratched. Step 1 lightly scrub the area with the mark or scratch using a very fine brass wool. The presence of these substances will inhibit the buffing process on your hardwood installation.

If you don t want to track down specialized equipment simply use a clean dry terry cloth towel to polish your floor with a circular motion. You can often take care of minor scratches stains and marks through cleaning and hand buffing. In general steel wool should not be used on hardwood. Keep ready your floor buffer and the buffing and polishing pads.

Many waxes are no buff and will remain glossy with no further effort. That removed most wax with vigorous scubbing on my hands and knees. Then i used method wood floor cleaner and a towel. Continue to buff the polish until it has a shiny appearance.

Seek medical attention immediately if you accidentally ingest or experience prolonged and direct exposure to polish solution. Enlisting a towel for solid wax or a sponge mop with a terry cloth head for liquid wax rub the cloth or glide the mop over two foot sections of the floor at a time. Let the floor dry and clean the floor to get rid of any dirt or dust on the floor. Instead utilize a buffing solution with a soft microfiber cloth or a dedicated buffing pad to buff the tile by hand.

The solutions necessary are also toxic so you should handle them with care. Again another 30 minutes using method floor cleaner to remove wax. Install the buffing pads and screen on the buffer. So use a low odor mineral spirit to clean it.

Place a clean towel on the applied polish area.
