Bosses will always drop a gun if the player has not yet picked up a gun on the current floor. The gungeon is the primary location in the game enter the gungeon. Every run that i ve gotten a past kill i don t even attempt to hit that floor. The gungeon is a constantly evolving bullet hell fortress on the planet gunymede that elegantly blends meticulously hand designed rooms within a procedurally generated labyrinth bent on destroying all that enter its walls. I find it more worthwhile to not take unneeded damage on that one particulary because you can t even get a for sure heart container for flawlessing. Then i got way better at first floor bosses to where i can most of the time get them.
